Converting monthly rent to a transaction amount
For monthly rent, the transaction amount is deposit + monthly rent × 100. If that's under ₩50M, it's recalculated as deposit + monthly rent × 70.
The rates in the table are maximums and can be negotiated down with the agent. If the agent is a general taxpayer, 10% VAT may be added. Officetels, shops and land use different rules (e.g. negotiated within 0.9%).
