The web budget book logs automatically when you paste card texts and even fills the annual budget sheet. Excel and Google Sheets versions are in the finance templates.

How to keep a budget going

  1. Budget first: at the start of the month, write down fixed and variable spending budgets. Setting amounts with the 50/30/20 budget planner makes it easy.
  2. One minute a day: instead of receipts, check your card app notifications and write once a day.
  3. Month-end review: even two lines — "what went well · what to cut" — change next month's spending.

52-week savings challenge

Start with ₩1,000 in week 1 and add ₩1,000 each week: after 52 weeks you'll have ₩1,378,000. If that's a stretch, go in reverse (from week 52) so amounts shrink during the costly year-end season.
