The colors of noise

  • White noise: equal intensity at all frequencies. A "shhh" sound like TV static
  • Pink noise: slightly stronger lows, soft like rain
  • Brown noise: much stronger lows, deep like a waterfall or wind. Popular for focus

Steady background noise makes sudden sounds around you (voices, neighbor noise) less noticeable. Keep the volume below conversation level (50dB or less). All sounds are generated live in the browser, not from recordings, so they use almost no data.
